Sales/Service Porter

Job Overview
Pleasantville Ford is a family owned and operated dealership located in the center of Westchester County, NY. We are seeking a friendly and professional Sales/Service Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, energetic individual with excellent communication skills, and a clean driving record. The position involves assisting customers with vehicle delivery and pickup, maintaining dealership parking, and supporting sales and service departments to deliver a top-tier customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Check in New Car Inventory from Factory
• Keep the New & Used Inventory organized
• Keep Service vehicles organized
• Assist Service customers at the time of vehicle drop off and pick up
• Transport inventory on the property and to other dealerships
• Drive customer’s home
• Maintain a clean service shop area
• Light clean-up work around the dealership
• Assist other departments as needed

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to a certain weight.

Work Environment

• The role involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to various weather conditions.

Reporting

• Reports to the GSM (General Sales Manager), Sales Managers and Service Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer focused with strong communication skills
• This position requires the ability to bend, kneel, walk or stand for long periods of time in all types of weather
• Prompt and courteous demeanor
• Positive and hardworking personality
• Eagerness to improve
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

At-Will Employment Relationship

The employment relationship between the Sales/Service Porter and Pleasantville Ford is "at-will." This means that either the associate or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. This job description does not create a contract of employment, implied or otherwise, and the Porter is not guaranteed employment for any specified period.
