What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Development Project Manager position at Pleasants Construction?
Pleasants Development is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead residential land development projects from feasibility through construction and final delivery. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-quality communities while working with a collaborative, experienced team.
What You’ll Do:
· Manage all phases of development: feasibility, design, entitlements, permitting, and construction
· Coordinate consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on schedule and within budget
· Oversee bidding, contracting, and construction activities to ensure quality and efficiency
· Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and monthly reporting
· Resolve field issues, manage inspections, and support builder and HOA coordination
· Partner with senior leadership on approvals, contracts, and project strategy
What We’re Looking For:
· Strong project management experience in land development or site infrastructure
· Civil Engineering degree and/or background with at least five years of relevant experience
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
· Knowledge of permitting, entitlements, and construction processes
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
