Job Description
The Sales Guide understands that every interaction, large or small, strengthens our mission, and delivers an exceptional experience. They represent the face of the brand in the community and provide the highest standards of guest engagement. Our Sales Guides will be responsible for maintaining the culture of the business by protecting the Pleasantrees brand and showing compassion for our guests. Reporting to the General Manager, Guides will also be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by focusing on overall business initiatives. Responsibilities
- Anticipates guests' needs and is responsive with an engaging attitude
- Exhibits pride through positive demeanor, body language and personal presentation
- Assist guests with understanding product benefits and offerings
- Responsible for creating an unparalleled, unique and genuine experience for every guest
- Takes a proactive approach, embrace, action and commit to all training tools provided
- Flexible and adaptable to become a team-oriented individual that fits in a collaborative fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Comply with company cash handling policies and perform daily cash management responsibilities and compliance reporting per company policy
- Daily compliance with shop policies, including but not limited to the following: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules
- Work closely with Receptionist to ensure exceptional, seamless guest experience
- Contributes to the safety and sanitation of the store.
Experience and Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced guest-centric environment
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC)
- Must be compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis industry
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
