Opticianry or optical technician/assistant experience is preferred but willing to train the right applicant.Job Summary: Frame and lens selection/styling, dispense and adjust eyewear, glasses and contact lens verification, contact lens insertion/removal training, inventory/ordering and pricing frames, manage frame displays/maintain dispensary, pretesting (autorefraction, visual fields, Optomap, tonometry), verify and explain patient's insurance.Minimum Qualifications:Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skillsMust possess a strong command of the English language, both oral and writtenOrganized individual who is able to multi-task and prioritize appropriatelyCourteous and professional demeanorMust be a "Team Player"Proficient computer skills, working in a Windows-based environment.Knowledge of OfficeMate/EHR is a plus although not necessary as training will be providedOutstanding punctuality and attendance in professional attireA sense of humor!This is a full-time position (Monday-Thursday 9 am -6 pm, Friday 9 am-3 pm).NO SATURDAYSCompensation: based upon experiencePrincipals only.
