Pleasant View Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility is looking for a full time Resident Financial Services Coordinator to be responsible for the accounting of funds being paid to the facility from various pay sources. This role also supports residents through all financial aspects during their stay. This includes insurance verification, benefit explanation, billing inquiries, and collection of outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ethical Conduct.
- Adhere to acceptable business practices in matters of conduct and behavior and exhibit a high degree of integrity, confidentiality and teamwork.
- Experience with insurance verification and benefit explanation.
- Experience with accounts receivable and aging reports.
