What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Nurse Clinical Unit Coordinator position at Pleasant View / Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility?
The Unit Clinical Coordinator is a licensed nurse responsible for the coordination and oversight of the clinical care needs of the residents.
- Directs, assists and supports the staff nurses on initiating and completing resident assessment and implementation of care with changes of condition.
- Communicates and coordinates person centered care between the residents, their representatives, staff nurses, nurse aides and the interdisciplinary team to assure highest practicable outcomes are achieved and to assure quality of life.
- Coordinates identifying root causes of incidents and adopting care plan interventions to reduce risk and assure safety.
- Assists staff with the planning and implementation of changes of condition.

- May have to work as a floor nurse at times.
Hours: 8 hours day shift with one late start day per week, working every 3rd weekend.
Pay is determined by license: LPN or RN
Pleasant View offers $2.00 per hour as an attendance bonus as well.
