Your knowledge, experience and compassion as a social services provider is needed to ensure our residents have the quality of life they deserve. Evaluating the social, spiritual and emotional needs our residents is integral with your involvement in essentials such as care planning, assessments, one-to-one interaction with residents and families, use of community resources, and administrative requirements.

Engaging residents in long-term care in meaningful activities ensures they have opportunities for optimal life experiences. Planning interesting and educational activities, outings, parties and other opportunities for our residents is such a boost to their attitude and well-being. You can expect to work with other social services staff and activity directors who support each other in this important aspect of resident life.
Qualifications:Be a certified nurse aide in good standing with the State of Kansas.
Be or become a Kansas certified Activity Director and Social Services Designee.
Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Be able to clearly communicate in English (speak, read, write).
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Be able to pass a drug screen and criminal record check.
