Job Overview
Pleasant View Gardens is currently seeking a detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our Production team. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, inventory management, and supporting overall production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software, data entry, and working with production metrics to ensure targets are being hit. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on Production & Operations.
Responsibilities:
Product Reports:
- Daily verification of product information: units produced & location; report to Quality Control with any product count discrepancies
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to review incoming materials for production team's use
Employee Equipment:
- Provide new & current employees with required materials to perform duties as necessary
- Order production supplies as needed to ensure production process is able to continue without pause
Communication:
- Work & communicate closely with all levels of production and interfacing departments (Human Resources, Inventory Control, Growers, Shipping)
- Notify appropriate departments regarding scanning, locations, posting verification and bonus reporting
Receiving Live Plants:
- Produce vendor confirmations ensuring that product type, quantity, and quality are all accurate
- Unpack received plants in preparation for Production team
- Inform Supervisor of any discrepancies
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to work cooperatively to collaborate with all levels of employees and management to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion
- Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in data entry
Education Preferences:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 Years of related experience in a production environment
- 1 Year of Greenhouse or Horticultural experience

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
