What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gardener Support Team position at Pleasant View Gardens - MN?
Our Garden Support Team (GST) is an integral component to the overall success of our company. Candidates should have a joy in working outside, working independently, as well as with a team, and enjoy general manual labor.
Monday - Friday (specific days an option)
4:00pm - 8:00pm *October-November may go until 8:30pm
- Assists team in unloading and reloading of trailers and trucks each day, assuring materials and equipment are properly loaded and secured;
- Assists in the tool and supply inventory in all company trucks and trailers;
- Assists in the loading of plants and carts in the appropriate trailers daily;
- Able to operate power tools and small equipment including but not limited to backpack blower and weed whip safely and efficiently;
- Assists in upkeep and maintenance of PVG facilities, and grounds;
- Assists in the cleaning of PVG vehicles, trailers, and equipment;
- Ensures all projects and tasks assigned are completed to PVG standards;
- Assists with irrigation management including adding and removing plant materials from water lines as needed; watering plants
- Is capable of thorough attention to detail;
- Has the ability to be a team player and work independently to accomplish tasks as needed;
- Communicates with Garden Support Crew Leader concerning materials needed for each crew for the following work day;
- Is capable of following direction, and thoroughly communicates in writing and in person with superiors and other staff;
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
