Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site Principal and Director of Special Education, instruct special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with district policies and procedures; develop and implement IEP goals, assess students, and coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically. Provides an educational program for elementary and middle school age students with a variety of developmental challenges and learning needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: *K-8: Education Specialist Instruction Credential—Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Specialist Credential in Special Education—Learning Handicapped or equivalent or currently enrolled in a Mild/Moderate credentialing program with the ability to obtain an intern credential. *Pre K: Education Specialist Instruction Credential--Early Childhood Special Education or equivalent or currently enrolled in an Early Childhood credentialing program with the ability to obtain an intern credential. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters must be dated and within one year)
