Workers will operate hand tools and farm equipment, including tractors, combines, and manual transmission trucks. Duties include machinery preparation, maintenance, and winterization; planting and field preparation; application of fertilizer, chemicals, and pesticides; row crop cultivation; harvest preparation, harvesting, transportation, and storage of crops; fall tillage; and general repair and maintenance of shop, yard, and roadside areas. Workers may retrieve supplies and are expected to assist in any miscellaneous tasks required for effective farm operations. Preference is given to applicants with knowledge of precision agriculture. Workers are expected to perform duties responsibly and follow instructions to maintain safety and productivity standards essential to the farm's seasonal operations.
