What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Personnel position at Pleasant Valley Country Club?
We are currently hiring for positions related to daily operation of the clubhouse-pro shop, snack bar, starter.
Pro-shop/snack bar:
-Greet and welcome customers
-Run cash registers (POS systems) and handle cash and credit card transactions
-Answer phone and reserve tee times while handling the above two tasks, answer general questions
-Sell food and beverages
-Clean work areas and stock merchandise
-Communicate and enforce all course rules and policies
-Other duties as assigned
**We prefer applicants be at least 19 years old due to beer sales in the snack bar and therefore scheduling flexibility
**With tips, you may make $13-$20/hour on a snack bar shift
Starter:
-Prepare golfers to tee off in a timely manner
-Monitor play from the 1st, and 9th to 10th tee to maintain pace
-Clean out, gas and park carts
-Communicate and enforce all course rules and policies
-Other duties as assigned
Based on scheduling, there will be overlap in these positions. Because we do not have many employees, it is unlikely we will hire without the possibility of placement in pro shop, snack bar, or starter on any given shift. Shifts start as early as 5:30 am and end as late as 9 pm and vary in duration.
