Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tree Climber to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, values precision pruning, and understands the importance of working safely and efficiently in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tree climbing and aerial operations for pruning and removals
- Execute proper pruning techniques in accordance with ANSI A300 standards
- Assist with rigging, dismantling, and technical removals when necessary
- Maintain awareness of jobsite hazards and ensure safe work practices at all times
- Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure smooth and safe operations
- Maintain and inspect climbing gear and equipment
Qualifications:
- Proven preferred)
- Strong understanding of proper pruning standards and tree biology
- Experience with rigging and technical removals
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- ISA Certification is a plus, but not required
