Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods

- Provide attentive toddler care and preschooler care, tailoring activities to developmental stages
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration and safety
- Apply behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and emotional regulation
- Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being
- Assist with basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies, ensuring immediate response when needed
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation
- Collaborate with team members to develop engaging youth programs that promote childhood development
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training encouraged
- Strong child supervision skills combined with activity planning expertise for young children

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
