Position Overview:

Fast-paced 2nd shift positions (4pm - 3am, Monday - Thursday) working at different machine centers in either the sawmill or the planer mill. Positions are rotated to reduce repetitive motion injuries and improve skill diversity of the crew. Flexibility is required and expected.

Safety Responsibilities

• Working in a safe manner is the highest priority.
• Follow Lock Out procedures consistently.
• Remain engaged, alert and aware of your surroundings while at work.
• Safety toe work shoes are required all other personal protective gear is provided.
• Maintain a safe-minded attitude.

Equipment Responsibilities

• Notify your supervisor or maintenance if mechanical issues are observed.

Duties

• Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery that processes logs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools, as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with tools and materials.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Additional shifts or hours will be expected based on achieving production goals.
• Cleaning responsibilities or hours can vary depending on the needs of the mill.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
