Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Controls Engineer based in Newark, DE, with flexibility to work remotely as needed. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems. This includes implementing process control strategies, working with motion control, PLC and Scada systems, and performing diagnostics on electrical systems to resolve complex issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and on-site client support required.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Process Control and developing control algorithms
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, including system design and circuit analysis
- Expertise in Troubleshooting and resolving issues with industrial control systems
- Experience in Motion Control systems.
- At least 2 years experience in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Ability to work independently and provide remote and on-site support
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites (mostly local) as needed
