The Senior Marketing Manager (USA) is a regional role accountable for shaping and delivering marketing strategy, strategic partnerships, and demand generation across Plaza Premium Group’s airport hospitality portfolio, including lounges, hotels, airport dining, and passenger services.
This role requires a strong understanding of the North American travel and aviation landscape, demonstrated capability in partnership development, and proven people leadership experience. You will lead regional marketing execution, influence cross-regional collaboration to drive inbound and outbound passenger traffic, and support the growth of the Smart Traveller membership programme.
Working in close partnership with Global Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and Operations teams, the role provides regional leadership and market insight to ensure North America initiatives are commercially effective, locally relevant, and aligned with Group priorities and brand standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the North America regional marketing strategy, aligned with Group business objectives, revenue targets, and brand positioning.
- Build, manage, and expand strategic partnerships with airports, airlines, tourism bodies, financial institutions, and travel & lifestyle brands.
- Provide people leadership to the regional marketing team, including goal setting, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
- Act as the primary regional marketing partner to Global Marketing team, contributing market intelligence, performance insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Drive inbound and outbound passenger demand in collaboration with other regional teams, ensuring coordinated cross-market initiatives.
- Support Smart Traveller membership acquisition and engagement through regional partnerships, activations, and demand-led campaigns.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, Sales, Loyalty, and Business Development teams to ensure marketing initiatives are operationally feasible and commercially impactful.
- Ensure brand consistency across North America while enabling effective localisation of campaigns and messaging.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and campaign performance, translating insights into clear actions and continuous improvement.
- Support and execute global marketing priorities within North America, balancing Group standards with regional requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of progressive marketing experience, including people leadership in regional or multi-market roles; experience in travel, aviation, hospitality, or premium consumer/ lifestyle sectors strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in partnership-led marketing, including co-marketing with airports, airlines, tourism boards, financial institutions, or commercial partners.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams within matrixed, cross-functional organisations.
- Strong understanding of the North American travel ecosystem, passenger behaviour, and B2C, B2B2C, and B2B channels.
- Solid grasp of digital marketing fundamentals, with the ability to translate regional insights into inputs for global growth and digital teams.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to link marketing initiatives to revenue, demand, and business performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Hands-on, accountable, and results-driven leadership style suited to fast-paced, global environments.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
