We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Orthodontic Team Lead (Anchor/Specialist Coordinator) to run the daily operations of our fast paced orthodontic practice. The Orthodontic Team Lead (Anchor/Specialist Coordinator) will be instrumental in fostering a positive team environment, optimizing practice efficiency, and maintaining high standards of orthodontic treatment delivery. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all clinical and administrative staff within the orthodontic practice, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Treatment coordination abilities is a must.
- Experience with chairside assisting is also a plus.
- WA dental registration is required.
- Manage orthodontic operations by implementing efficient workflows, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Utilize Open Dental to manage patient information accurately and securely.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics, analyze financial reports, and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to dental office standards, including infection control protocols, safety procedures, and quality assurance measures aligned.
- Handle human resources functions such as training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment.
- Coordinate with insurance providers for managed care processing, utilization management, and billing procedures to optimize revenue cycles.
- Support clinical staff with medical administrative support tasks related to medical terminology, medical records management, and acute care documentation when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare laws including HIPAA regulations while safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.Skills
- Solid understanding of fiscal management principles including budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle processes within a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership abilities demonstrated through supervising teams in busy clinical settings; excellent communication skills are essential for effective human resources management.
- Experience working within dental clinics or orthodontic practices is preferred; familiarity with clinic experience enhances operational oversight.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment involving orthodontic care is advantageous.
