Full-Time | High-Volume Dealership
Pay: $30–$50 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, skill level and productivity
Plaza Honda is looking for an experienced Used Car Technician to join our busy reconditioning team.
We sell a high volume of pre-owned vehicles and need a technician who can inspect, diagnose and repair used vehicles quickly and correctly so they are ready for the lot.

What You'll Do
- Perform used vehicle safety and mechanical inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform brakes, tires, suspension and steering repairs
- Complete fluid services and scheduled maintenance
- Perform cooling system and A/C repairs
- Diagnose check-engine lights and drivability concerns
- Complete batteries, belts, hoses and other common reconditioning repairs
- Identify additional repairs needed to make vehicles frontline-ready
- Work closely with Used Car Management to prioritize inventory
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Road-test vehicles before and after repairs
- Document all work performed accurately
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional automotive technician experience required
- Used-car reconditioning experience strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical repair skills
- Ability to diagnose common mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to work efficiently and produce flat-rate hours
- Comfortable working on multiple makes and models
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own basic automotive tools
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Honda or dealership experience is a plus
- Must have a flexible schedule, including Saturdays as needed
