We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Unit Manager to lead clinical operations within our Sub-acute care unit. The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) on assigned unit
- Coordinate and oversee resident care plans and clinical services
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing schedules, assignments, and workflow
- Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and therapists
- Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in NJ.
- Minimum 2–3 years nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
