What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Hygienist position at Plaza Family Dental?
We are looking for a friendly, motivated hygienist to join our well established practice on a part time basis with current openings on Mondays and or Tuesdays. This flexible schedule allows you to work one or two days if it fits your current work schedule. This is a family orientated practice with competitive pay and benefits including vacation time and accrued sick time. This opportunity has a flexible start date. Responsibilities include conducting routine dental exams and assessments, accurately documenting patient histories and treatment plans, perform teeth cleanings and scaling, apply preventive treatments such as fluoride , manage infection control protocols, maintain dental equipment, and collaborate with the team to ensure a positive patient experience . Required qualifications include a valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice, current CPR certification, and at least one year of clinical experience. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, proficiency in dental software, time management, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
