Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness and flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and feedback professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, but not necessarily.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to details.
