We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Minimum Qualifications Lead Teacher:
Bachelor's degree, or enrolled in a degree program leading to Early Childhood Education degree OR a Related field IS REQUIRED.
Ability to work Monday - Friday is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project-based learning and lesson planning
- 2 years plus experience working with children ages 5 or younger
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues and be an integral part of our growing team
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
Skills:
As a Teacher, you will need to have excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. You will also need strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple responsibilities. In addition, you will need to be adaptable and flexible, able to adjust your teaching style and approach to meet the needs of diverse learners ages and abilities.
