Are you available to work Saturday, April 4th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM providing childcare at a gala in New Brunswick, NJ? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
Are you someone who loves bringing fun and positive energy into a childcare space? Do you enjoy laughing, connecting with children, and creating joyful experiences, even during busy moments? Are you comfortable working with diverse families and adapting to different needs?
If you answered yes, Playtime Event Sitters may be the perfect fit for you! We are looking for Fun Sitters to help care for children (ages 2–10) at an upcoming gala.
You’ll work alongside a team of sitters to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for the children while their parents attend the event. Dinner and activities will be provided, and if it’s a great fit, there may be additional opportunities to work with us in the future.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and ready to work
- Work collaboratively with a team of sitters
- Engage children in games, crafts, and activities
- Assist with bathroom breaks and serving meals
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for children
- Greet families and children with warmth and positivity
- Most importantly, have fun!
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional childcare experience
- Reliable, energetic, and engaging
- Positive attitude and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Able to pass a background and reference check
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
