Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Summer Intern role based in New Jersey, NJ. PlayStar is seeking an iGaming Marketing Intern to support our player engagement and promotions team. This isn’t a “sit back and observe” internship. You’ll work directly on live campaigns, real player journeys, and meaningful business initiatives across the iGaming ecosystem.
This is a flexible internship designed to evolve based on your interests and strengths. You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple functions, gain exposure to different parts of the business, and take ownership of projects aligned with your skills and career goals.
About the Internship
• Summer 2026 program: June–August
• Flexible part-time hours during the summer program, with the potential for expanded hours based on availability and business needs
• Hybrid work environment (Newport, Jersey City NJ)
• Opportunity to contribute to live campaigns and real business initiatives
• Exposure to multiple areas of a fast-growing iGaming business
• Potential for a return internship or full-time opportunity
Compensation
This is a for-credit internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive academic credit through their university. PlayStar will support all required documentation.
Qualifications
• Must be 21 & eligible for academic credit through a college or university internship program
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred)
• Strong interest in marketing, digital products, or the iGaming industry
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with data and learning new tools (Excel or similar experience is a plus)
• Interest in sports, gaming, or online entertainment is a plus
