Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail oriented Team Members to join our team in Eugene's newest indoor play facility designed for kids under the age of 7. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with families and kids, the food industry and working collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, checking kids in, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Prepare food and beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including cafe area, dining spaces, play areas, bathrooms, and food preparation areas.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and monitoring product freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours while maintaining high standards of service.
Skills
- Engage with families and their children.
- Attention to detail with keeping the establishment VERY clean.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in a café or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with cash register operation and basic retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills to assist with inventory management and order accuracy.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
