Responsibilities include:
  • Auditing and inspecting parts and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring product conforms to specification by performing inspections to include first article inspections, testing product, and correcting nonconforming and returned materials.
  • Conducting internal audits.

Qualified applicants will have:
  • 2 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Experience in the use of simple measurement devices required.
  • Ability to lift 51 pounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

1. IMPROVE PRODUCT QUALITY
by
auditing and inspecting parts and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Investigate and take action on the opportunities.

2. PROVIDING QUALITY PROCESS SUPPORT
by
supporting quality and manufacturing by assuring SOPs are adhered to during the manufacturing/inspection process.

3. ENSURE PRODUCT CONFORMS TO SPECIFICAITION
by
supporting the Quality Specialist by performing product inspection, first article inspections, testing product, analyzing, correcting and processing nonconforming and returned materials.

4. PERFORM ISO 9001/14001 INTERNAL AUDITS
by
reviewing quality and environmental processes; developing audit checklists; performing audits; and documenting and distributing audit results.

5. MAINTAINS QUALITY ASSURANCE EQUIPMENT
by
performing support/back-up activities of the gage calibration program maintained by the Quality Specialist.

6. SERVES AS BACK-UP TO THE QUALITY SPECIALIST
by
learning activities associated with the position.

7. PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS REQUIRED
by
the Quality Manager

8 CONTRIBUTES TO THE TEAM EFFORT
by
accomplishing related results as needed.

9. MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD
by
Complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

10. PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 2 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Experience in the use of simple measurement devices required.
  • Ability to lift 51lbs.
  • Positive attitude and proven support for management
  • Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.

  • Steel toed shoes are required at all times.
  • Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
  • Must adjust PPE to be meet requirements, as some specific areas may require additional specific items to be worn for PPE, such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
  • Normal manufacturing environment exposed to noise and heat if working in production area.

  • Lifting and bending frequently.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • ¾ of the time standing and moving about the department.

Compensation:
The pay range is for Lewisburg, PA, and is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.

There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
