Youth Sports Program Manager (Part-Time, Seasonal | On-Site Leadership)
Playpen Sports Academy is hiring a Site Manager to lead one of our local youth sports locations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing coaching staff, ensuring program quality, and providing strong on-site customer service.
Company Overview: Playpen Sports Academy is a youth sports company with a mission to disrupt the youth sports industry by promoting increased access for families of all income levels, encouraging participation from young athletes of all skill levels, fostering play-based learning, and prioritizing holistic development over competition. With a remarkable growth trajectory, Playpen has expanded from 8 locations to operating in 47 cities across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana within just 4 years. Our core classes are focused on ages 2-6 across a wide variety of sports, however we are now expanding with some programs being offered for kids up to the age of 14.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee and lead all on-site program operations during scheduled classes
- Supervise and support coaches to ensure high-quality instruction
- Oversee coaching staff attendance and provide real-time solutions to staffing gaps and on-site coverage needs.
- Manage weekly schedules and roster organization
- Ensure safety, professionalism, and curriculum consistency
- Communicate with families and respond to questions or concerns on-site
- Monitor equipment and maintain organized site standards
- Support retention and local enrollment efforts
Schedule
- Part-time, seasonal (year-round opportunities available in select locations).
- Must have availability: Sat 8:30am-12pm & Mon 4:45pm-7:15pm
- Estimate [4-6 hours a week (based on enrollment)]
- Contract Length: [Now - November 2026]
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable and organized
- Comfortable managing both people and operations on-site
- Confident problem-solver in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (not required):
- Sports or athletic background
- Coaching experience
- Experience working with children
- Team leadership or management experience
Pay
- Starting at $23/hour (Level 1 Site Managers have minimal administrative responsibilities)
- Bi-weekly pay

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
