Playlist's Corporate Strategy team identifies and evaluates opportunities for long-term growth, bringing together research, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to turn strategy into action.
The Role You'll PlayYou'll independently guide strategic initiatives from early ideas through evaluation and execution, helping shape Playlist's next stage of growth. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners, you'll bring clarity to complex opportunities and build alignment through thoughtful recommendations, persuasion, and negotiation.
- Lead strategic initiatives from scoping through execution, including internal programs, external partnerships, and transactions
- Develop investment theses, conduct in-depth research, and build financial models to assess opportunities and inform decisions
- Partner with Legal and Finance to clarify opportunity considerations and support informed recommendations
- Align cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders on priorities, decisions, and execution
- Translate complex findings into concise presentations and actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Build relationships with external advisors and industry contacts to strengthen insights and opportunity evaluation
- Mentor junior team members and support their development
- 5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate development
- Demonstrate success leading project-based work in corporate development, corporate strategy, or financial planning and analysis
- Apply strong financial acumen to build detailed models and evaluate strategic opportunities
- Navigate ambiguity and time-sensitive decisions with sound judgment and a self-directed approach
- Create high-quality presentations that make complex information clear and support executive decision-making
- Use project management, communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills to move initiatives forward
- Build trust with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, influencing outcomes without formal authority

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $131,000 to $175,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include a performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans
