Summary
We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Playground Prep, LLC in the heart of our Early Childhood Center. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our educators and enhancing the learning experiences of our young students. We are seeking teacher assistants to support lead teachers in our classrooms, which range from Infants to Pre-Kindergarten. Flexible hours, however, candidates must be available most afternoons. Candidates must have experience with children. Both full and part-time positions available. Please submit your resume for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
- Support children's learning and development through engaging educational activities.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
- Provide care during snack times and breaks.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- First aid certification is a plus but not required.
