Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Playful Minds Pediatric Therapy, located in Bayou La Batre, AL. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include designing and implementing therapy plans, collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals, and monitoring patient progress to ensure goal achievement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and knowledge of speech-related challenges such as Dysphagia
- Experience in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders and supporting language development
- Ability to assess and develop treatment plans for Language Disorders in pediatric patients
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, and valid licensure or certification to practice in the state of Alabama
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and working with diverse families
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
