Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Supervise kitchen staff by assigning duties, providing training on food safety, food handling, and proper cooking techniques
- Implement and maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management, timely service, and excellent customer service experiences
- Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within the food industry
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to support operational efficiency
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of staff training & development and team management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to restaurant or hospitality settings
