What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end setup, trafficking, and troubleshooting of advertising campaigns across multiple demand platforms (DSPs, ad servers, SSPs), and serve as the technical lead for demand-side integrations, campaign configuration, and optimization.
- Implement and support integrations and custom measurement solutions (VAST/VPAID, Prebid, OpenRTB).
- Investigate and resolve complex issues by analyzing system logs and diagnostics, leveraging observability tools like Datadog and Groundcover to quickly identify root causes and drive resolutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, engineering, customer success) and external stakeholders, including clients, agencies, SSPs, and measurement vendors, to ensure seamless ad delivery, address technical needs, and optimize performance.
- Define and continuously improve ad operations best practices, documentation, and scalable workflows.
- Act as a key escalation point for technical issues related to demand integrations and platform performance.
- 5 years of experience in Ad Operations within an AdTech environment.
- Proven hands-on experience with DSPs and ad servers (Google Ad Manager).
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, auction dynamics, header bidding, and supply path optimization.
- Deep experience troubleshooting technical issues using log data and observability tools (Datadog, Groundcover), with a structured, problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript basics, ad tags, and working with log-level data.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
- Solid working knowledge of Chrome DevTools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Background working at an AdTech vendor, SSP, DSP, or measurement partner.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for tracking and targeting.
- Experience working with APIs or data pipelines is a plus.
