What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Cook position at Playa Provisions?
Playa Provisions is a multi-concept beach side restaurant in Playa Del Rey.
We are looking for a fun, passionate pastry cook to join our family. This position that will encompass all aspects of our pastry department including ice cream. You must be efficient, able to work with little supervision and still get things done, uphold our standards and be detail oriented.
You must obtain the following skills in order to be successful with us:
Able to produce consistent product day in and day out
Excellent time management skills
Ability to follow directions
Work well in a team environment
Have a 'can do' attitude
This will be a PM (dinner service) position.
Minimum Requirements: at least 1 year experience or culinary school/externship. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. if necessary.
