What You'll Do
As a Play Street Museum Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every family has an exceptional experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and interacting with children and their families to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment by cleaning and resetting exhibits throughout your shift.
- Engaging with children in play and activities while ensuring their safety.
- Assisting with special events, including occasional evenings and holidays.
- Performing repetitive cleaning and sanitizing tasks to meet our high standards of cleanliness.
- Moving and organizing toys, furniture, and supplies as needed.
This is an active, hands-on position that will keep you on your feet and on the move!
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or working with children.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift 25–35 pounds regularly throughout your shift.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a combination of weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings for special events.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and reliable transportation.
- Team Spirit: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Engagement Skills: Comfort interacting with young children and their families.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Compliance: Willingness to pass any required background screening in accordance with state and local regulations.
