Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, providing a safe and engaging environment for their growth and development. Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants, including feeding, diaper changes, and ensuring their comfort.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Implement educational activities that foster cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the childcare area to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit on-site.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to develop lesson plans and classroom activities.
Qualifications.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including those with special needs.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude towards educating young children through play-based learning.
- Previous experience in preschool or classroom settings is a plus.
