Job Overview: Play It Again Sports is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their sporting goods needs, and performing various service tasks to maintain a welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store.
- Perform service work including skate sharpening, golf club regripping, bat regripping, and ski waxing.
- Process sales and used gear buy transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for sports and knowledge of various sporting goods.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
