Assistant Store Manager

Play It Again Sports Traverse City is expanding, and we’re looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead the charge! What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keep the store running like a well-oiled machine, assisting with daily operations
• Help lead and motivate a growing team of sales associates
• Assist with managing inventory, restocking, and merchandising to keep our gear game strong
• Support scheduling, training, and team development
• Deliver outstanding customer service and solve challenges quickly and effectively
• Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Work directly with the Store Manager and ownership to support business strategy and growth
• Work with your hands by performing ski, skate, and golf services with excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive attitude and desire to learn
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Retail & leadership experience desirable but not required
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Good character and a strong work ethic
• A passion for sports and active lifestyles is a big plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
