Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maximize sales opportunities
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assistant with e-commerce sales and shipping
- Implement marketing strategies to promote store products and increase foot traffic while managing budgets effectively
Experience
- Experience within the retail industry and store operations
- Strong background in retail sales and inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development
- Experience or knowledge and background in e-commerce sales and shipping
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and manage operational tasks efficiently
- Understanding of sports and sport equipment
