Play Centers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, engaging, and high-quality before and after school care for children throughout Baltimore County. Every day, our team creates a fun, supportive environment where children can learn, play, build friendships, and grow.
We're looking for caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our team as School Age Aides and Teachers. Whether you're beginning a career in education or child care, studying to become a teacher, or simply enjoy working with children, we'd love to meet you!

Program Hours
Before School: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM (hours vary by school)
After School: Monday–Friday, approximately 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (hours vary by school)
Starting Pay
Starting at $15.50 per hour, with higher starting rates available based on experience, certifications, education, and Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) qualifications.
Qualifications
All applicants must meet the qualification requirements established by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Office of Child Care for School Age Child Care programs.
Dependable attendance is essential. Applicants must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival for scheduled shifts.
