What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Play Café Class Instructor & Play Associate position at Play Cafe?

Responsibilities
- Lead fun, interactive classes for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Help research and develop new class ideas and seasonal activities
- Set up and clean up before and after classes
- Engage with children and families during open play
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with café and front desk tasks as needed
- Help keep the play café clean, organized, and welcoming
- Fill in during busy periods and special events when needed
Schedule
Required
- Fridays: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Preferred
- Availability on weekdays and occasional weekends
- Additional weekday shifts available as business grows, especially during September and October
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred (daycare, preschool, nannying, teaching, camps, church nursery, babysitting, etc.)
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable leading groups
- Dependable and punctual
- Organized with attention to detail
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and actively playing with children
Pay
Starting at $10.50 per hour

The Village Play Café is an indoor play café designed for children ages 6 months to 6 years. We believe it truly takes a village, and we're building a warm, welcoming space where families can play, connect, and make lasting memories.
