The hourly range is a rough estimate based on averages, and does not always reflect an accurate starting rate. All hourly rates decided at the beginning of employment are tailored to match each individual employee's specific skillset and knowledge. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 30 POUNDS STAND ON YOUR FEET FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. MUST BE ABLE WORK ALL STORE HOURS MONDAY TO WEDS 10 AM TO 730 PM SUNDAY 11 TO 630 PM FRIDAY AND SATURDAY10 AM TO 1130 PM THURSEDAY 10 TO 1030 PM MANAGERS WILL ASSIGN YOUR SHIFTS AND DAYS OFF.THIS IS THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY JOB 2 TO 1030 AND 3 TO 1130
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selection, including demonstrating features and benefits through engaging product demos
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products and accessories by understanding customer needs and highlighting relevant items
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays to showcase products effectively and keep the store organized
- Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and ensure products are properly labeled and replenished regularly
- Support supervising staff during busy periods by helping with store operations, stock management, and customer inquiries
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in environments like grocery stores or electronics retail
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, basic math, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, stocking, and cashiering is highly desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus; ability to guide team members and ensure excellent service standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that encourages repeat business
