Part-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Home-based Pediatrics
Position Type: Part-Time Independent Contractor
Hours: 5–10 hours per week to start, with opportunity for growth
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric practice. This position provides home-based occupational therapy services to children in the Las Vegas area under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA looking for a flexible, consistent part-time schedule with the potential to grow as our caseload expands.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment to pediatric clients in their homes under the supervision of the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to address developmental, sensory, motor, and functional goals.
- Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation for each treatment session.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding client progress and treatment recommendations.
Qualifications
- Current Nevada Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel between client homes. Every effort will be made to schedule clients within a condensed geographic area to minimize driving time.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with pediatric clients is preferred but not required.
