Play & Learn, the largest non-profit childcare and early education organization in Montgomery County, is seeking dedicated Preschool, and Infant Teachers to join our dynamic team at our Abington location.
About Us:
At Play & Learn, we are dedicated to providing top-quality care and education to children from six weeks to school-age. As the childcare provider for Jefferson Abington Hospital employees and students, we take great pride in our strong community connections and our role in nurturing young minds.
Position Overview:
As a Pre-K Teacher at Play & Learn, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds during their critical early years. We are committed to providing a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment where children can develop essential skills and ignite their curiosity.
Position Highlights:
- Roles Available: Pre-K Teacher
- Location: Play & Learn Collegeville - 35 Evansburg Road

- Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on role and experience)
- Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to meet the individual needs of each child
- Implement the Play & Learn Curriculum
- Collaborate with team members to support children and families
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Foster a nurturing, multicultural learning atmosphere
- Encourage creativity through art, music, and play
- Plan and conduct activities that promote self-esteem and social skills
- Participate in staff and training meetings
Qualifications:
Pre-K Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- PA State Instructional I Certificate or Private Academic Nursery Kindergarten Certificate or willing to obtain
- Minimum of two years of childcare experience in a formal setting
- Passionate about fostering positive relationships with children and families
