What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic position at PLATTSMOUTH COMMUNITY SCHOOLS?
Lexington Public Schools has an opening for a full-time diesel mechanic position. Applicants must have knowledge and experience in heavy-duty diesel engines, air brakes, DOT inspections. A two-year degree in diesel mechanics is preferred. Applicants for this job must be able to work in varying heights, in weather extremes throughout the year, lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, and have the ability to run different types of power equipment. Applicants will be required to obtain a CDL with a bus permit within the first 6 months of employment. Basic computer skills are required.
