PRN to cover vacations, sick calls and high volume days Monday to Friday Full job description Job Type: PRN coverage for Part time to Full-Time Nurses Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 to 5:00, occasional clinics on a Saturday morning or after hours during the week About Us Platte River Family Practice is a patient-centered family practice dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals and families of all ages. We are seeking a versatile and motivated healthcare professional to join our team. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist with patient check-in with professionalism and warmth. Triage appointments. Patient care throughout the life span is critical. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. May assist in coordinating referrals and prior authorizations. Answer clinical calls and assess patient symptoms using triage skills and EHR navigation. Provide guidance or escalate concerns to the provider as needed. Offer basic health advice and coordinate urgent appointments. Ability to perform IVs, venipuncture, and capillary blood draws for patients of all ages preferred. Assist with in-house testing: CLIA Waived testing, ECG, PFT, NMS, PKU. Contact patients with testing results or clinical coordination. Assist with chronic care management. Update patient histories and health records. Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as needed. Assist providers with exams and minor procedures. Educate patients on medications, chronic conditions, and wellness needs. Monitor patient progress and report concerns to the provider. Perform daily checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
Qualifications Current nursing license (LPN or RN) in Wyoming. CPR/BLS certification (required). Experience in a family practice or outpatient clinic setting is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred) and Microsoft 365/Teams.
