Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry level Quality Control Technician III to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a stable, long-term career with a company that supports professional growth and values teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
· Perform fresh concrete testing (slump, air, temperature, unit weight) and cast test cylinders in accordance with ASTM standards.
· Conduct field sampling and testing at job sites and production locations.
· Test raw materials including aggregates, cementitious materials, and admixtures.
· Monitor batch plant operations to verify accurate mix proportions and consistent product quality.
· Document test results, maintain daily QC reports, and communicate findings to the QC Manager and production team.
· Assist with troubleshooting quality concerns and provide recommendations to improve product consistency.
· Support customer needs by providing technical assistance during concrete placement.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory and testing environment.
Qualifications
Required:
· High school diploma or GED
· Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
· Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor and industrial environments
· Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Preferred:
· ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I certification
· Experience with concrete testing, QA/QC, or materials inspection
· Familiarity with ASTM testing procedures and concrete mix designs
