Hiring 4-H Extension Assistant in Platte County, Nebraska.

Seeking highly motivated individual to work as a full time 4-H Extension Assistant to work with the 4-H program and help teach 4-H school enrichment in Platte County. This position will assist with everything from camps and workshops to the county fair and classroom programming.
Planning, developing, and delivering effective educational youth programming is the focus. A bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, agriculture, or closely related field, and experiences in 4-H, teamwork and program planning; or an equivalent combination of training and experience needed. Office is located in Columbus, NE.

Qualifications:
- Proven ability and experience in successfully teaching and interacting with diverse youth audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, family consumer sciences, animal science, agricultural leadership or closely related field, preferred.
- Experiences in 4-H, teamwork and program planning; or an equivalent combination of training and experience needed.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
