Platt Insurance is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing independent insurance agency.
We’re looking for someone who already understands the insurance business and can confidently manage client relationships, provide thoughtful coverage guidance, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is a blend of service and sales-you’ll manage an assigned book of business while also writing new business generated through referrals, agency marketing, and cross-selling opportunities.

What You’ll Do
* Manage and build relationships with an assigned book of personal insurance clients.
* Handle policy changes, renewals, billing questions, coverage reviews, remarketing, and day-to-day client service.
* Write new personal lines business generated through referrals, agency marketing, and cross-selling opportunities.
* Identify coverage gaps and make thoughtful insurance recommendations.
* Communicate with carrier underwriters and service teams.
* Maintain accurate documentation within our agency management system.
* Use technology to create an efficient, seamless client experience.
* Collaborate with producers, account managers, and our sales support team.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous personal lines insurance agency experience is required.
* Active Ohio Property & Casualty license.
* Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software platforms.
* Experience using agency management systems, comparative rating software, carrier websites, Microsoft 365, and other insurance technology.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A relationship-first approach to both client service and sales.
