Edge Bander - CNC Operator
Position Hours: 6:00a-2:30p (overtime as required)
Essential Functions
- Regular and on-time attendance for full shift schedule
- Seek and perform alternate, productive tasks to keep busy during unexpected down time
- Operate Edge-Bander
- Operate CNC router machine – reads prints and drawings to determine and set the proper machine settings
- Set-up machines, run tests, troubleshoot and make adjustments accordingly
- Correctly identify and sort cabinets and compartments to order
- Retrieve, offload and stack pallets from downstream departments
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
- Accurately use tape measure and other measuring devices
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to distinguish between various wood species
